Young Leaders aged 11-17, but is equally open to anyone over the age of 17 and is a current member of British Gymnastics.
Young Leaders Programme
British Gymnastics has created a structured program where young people can follow a program which will help develop them as future leaders within gymnastics in schools, clubs and leisure centres.We are delighted to say that there are a number of clubs in Kent that have embraced the scheme and many of the leaders have continued the program with online learning and support sessions during lockdown.

How do I get involved?
If you are a club then you must register your interest in finding out more or starting up a a programme within your club with British Gymnastics.
If you are already a participate in gymnastics then speak to your coach or receptionist to see if they already have a club. If you are not actively a member of a club or keen to get involved with a club, check out our Kent Clubs section to see what club’s are involved in the scheme or contact us and we will see if we can find a club near to you.
The programme introduces Young Leaders to the various roles and opportunities available within gymnastics, helps them to identify their strengths and the aspects of gymnastics under the following five key topic areas:
Learning, Development, Volunteering, Future, Projects.
