GREAT BRITAIN AND ENGLISH NATIONAL SELECTION FOR KENT GYMNASTS AND COACH
Maidstone based Pegasus Gymnastics Club are celebrating an array of English and Great Britain team selection places.
James Hall, 27, from Maidstone, who has been representing Great Britain since 2015, has been selected for the British Team going to the World Gymnastics Championships, in Belgium, this coming month, after being selected at the National Trials 2 weeks ago.
Hall will also be joined by his coach, Ditton based, Ionut Trandaburu, who has been selected as GB coach for the competition.
But James and Ionut are not the only members of the club that have had National Team selection success.
Sam Ghinn, 20, from Maidstone and Euan Cox, 22, from Ashford, have been chosen to represent England, in November, at the Northern Euros, being held in Sweden, with Ionut again joining them as England coach.
With the Paris 2024 just around the corner, these Championships are an important pillar on the journey to Olympic Team selection.
